T-I Tracker
T-I Tracker is my Time, and Income Tracker page.
One of the most common things everyone will be asking is “yeah, but how much time did it take you?”
TIME:
On this page we are going to keep track of time. I will track my time spent on creating posts for the website as well as the time it takes to do the various tasks I cover that day. These will be broken out as necessary and accumulated monthly and then yearly.
Since we are going to start in January 2009, we should have a full year’s worth of time and cover all the selling seasons to review for next year.
You can see all my TIME on the TIME page.
Note: The time it is taking me to build this website (pages, background setup, etc. will not be included in the time total since you do not need to create one of these yourself to become sucessful. I will break it out, but since I have experience building some sites it would not be applicable to someone who has never built one before.
INCOME:
The income component will include the commissions we received from the print-on-demand sites, as well as the commission we receive in other ways such as affiliation.
Part of using free tools on the internet is affiliating with other content creators and getting commissions sent back when you send them a paying customer.
You can see my INCOME STATS on my INCOME page.
HOURLY RATE:
Last, but not least, is my hourly rate. This is simply the income I received from a project divided by the time it takes to build and maintain that project. Income (in $) / Time (in hours) = $/hour.
This will give me a good proxy to go by to see if my endeavours are worth the time. If I am only making $5/hour then it might not be worth it. The great thing about these projects is that they don’t take much time, and once they are done they can sit for a while so you can take a break or work on another project. While they are sitting they still have the opportunity to make money.
You can see my HOURLY RATE STATS on my HOURLY RATE page.
