Make something Special for Father’s Day

If you didn’t know, Father’s Day is coming up on June 21. If you have always wanted to get that funny saying you and he share on a shirt, now is the time. You have a week to get it on the shirt, get it printed, and shipped. Normally that is plenty of time. The best part is, you don’t even need an account to do it. If you want to make some Father’s Day designs and offer them for sale, it would be a great time to do that as well. Normally however, the search engines won’t find you in time to send traffic your way, you will have to rely on your own marketing and the Zazzle marketplace for sales.
Here is how to create a T Shirt Design for Father’s Day:
- Think of a design. This can either be a drawing, text based, or a combination.
- Go to Zazzle:

- If you have a drawing or saying that you want to put on the shirt then:
- Click on Create
- Click Start From Scratch
- Click on the product (T shirt)
- Click on the Style (classic, long sleeve, etc.)
- Follow the wizard for adding text and adding pictures
- Buy the shirt
- If you want to use a World Famous brand like Garfield or Discovery Channel or Disney products, etc. then:
- Click Create
- Scroll down and you will see that as on option, Click that banner
- Pick the brand you want
- Pick the design from the options in the brand
- There might be another page of sub-options for any given brand
- Click on the product you want it on
- Some of the brands also let you “build” a shirt. In these cases, you can add text to the designs they have.
- A for instance is the General Mills designs. You can add a name or a number to some of their designs of their logo’s / characters such as the Jolly Green Giant or the Lucky Charms Leprechaun.
- Follow the wizard to checkout and get your shirt sent!
Great news! Zazzle is offering a special for Father’s Day. They will upgrade your shipping to 2-day shipping for free on all orders over $35. That means you have a couple days to get after it. Here is the Zazzle Coupon Code for Father’s Day: TWODAYFORDAD
Of course if you are designing for Dad, you can follow a lot of the same steps but choose the Make Available for Sale at the end of the wizard.
