Starting with Zazzle

We got a resounding response (thank you all for voting), ZAZZLE was chosen as the Print-on-Demand (POD) site to start at next. As I stated in prior posts, you already have all you need to set up and fill a entire CafePress shop. If you want to review anything from the CafePress posts, just click on the Project #1 category and all the CafePress based posts will come up. So, if you purchased the full year of shop fees for the $59.95, then continue with your strategy there, but also start with us at Zazzle - you can use the same designs and templates that you already created. I am going to try and load as many designs into my CafePress shop as I can so I maximize the potential earnings. Now, ON TO ZAZZLE!
In a Zazzle vs. CafePress comparision, I like Zazzle much better in many ways.
- It is currently FREE to load your shop with designs. So instead of forking over $6.95 / month or $59.95 a year, you will already be ahead of the game on this one.
- MUCH BETTER marketing material. By marketing material I mean code and buttons that you can put on your site to show off your shirts and designs. They have a scrolling product
- You can also install plug-ins for MySpace and Facebook
- New tools - bulk upload.
- As it has been nearly a year since I have loaded anything in Zazzle, they have come out with a lot of new features including a bulk upload feature where you can load 1,000 designs at a time. That will be KinTastic! Frankly, this is the main reason I haven’t loaded up Zazzle before - the time consuming part of loading designs. It was also the reason I didn’t load all the ideas floating in my head into CafePress (very time consuming). I can’t wait to test this one out.
- Licensed many brands that you can use - such as the Lucky Charms character, a lot of Disney characters, and much more.
An example of one of the marketing materials is below. This was copied and pasted pretty much straight from their wizard and took about 2 minutes.

Pretty snazzy eh? In any case, I am much more exicted about starting with Zazzle than in the past mainly due to the bulk upload tool. I am going to use my HaHaShirtShop zazzle account for the instruction sets going forward since I don’t have but maybe 10 designs in there, and will be starting from scratch anyway.
So, lets get going. I am going to go through most of the steps on starting a Zazzle account in my next post, but if you want to go check it out before then simply click on the badge below:
Any questions so far? Is there something specific you want to see in Zazzle? Let me know, I will put it on the list to cover.
