Welcome to “From Pink Slip”

I have started this site to attempt to become an independent business owner.  I won’t go into details here, but just click on my About page to learn the history behind From Pink Slip. 

 As this is my first regular post, let me introduce my self.  I am the owner of the site FromPinkSlip.com and the author of the posts on this site.  I will be starting an online business from scratch and chronicling it here.  This way if you would like to follow along and create your own online business from home, you can.  I will try and keep everything easy, and if the websites allow me to post screen shots I will.  No more spending money buying How-to books or internet scams written by people who haven’t even done the things they wrote about, this is a free source that will have easy step-by-step tools to allow you to repeat what I do and learn along the way.

 Now that we are friends, you can call me Slippy :) (get it Pink Slip - Slippy)

 Just like most of you out there I have limited means, so I am going to be using free internet tools to try and make money.  With any luck I will generate enough cash to start promotions and other marketing endeavors in order to increase my exposure and thus my income.  The goal here is to use as little startup money as possible to launch a successful business.  I will keep track of expenses and sales on the TI Tracker page so we can all see how successful (or unsuccessful) the business is.  Another thing I am hoping to track is the amount of time spent.  This will allow us to calculate the best use of time and give new readers an idea on how much time will be involved.  I will keep track of it in 2 different allotments.  The first is Posting Time - this is the amount of time it took me to write and create a post for this blog.  The second which would be more relevant to you would be Creation Time and will include how long it took me to actually implement the step for that post.
